Chen Jin, general manager of Zhejiang Shipping said: "Singapore has a superior environment for shipping industry which will support us to expand shipping service scale," adding that Singapore will be the forward position in the company's international development, and the gateway for Zhejiang Shipping to explore international business.
As at the end of 2022, Zhejiang Shipping owned and operated a fleet of 34 vessels, totaling in 1.84m tons, and is one of the top fifteen shipping companies in China's domestic market.
