BDI resumes falling, drops below 350 points for first time
The Baltic Dry Index (BDI) resumed falling on Tuesday to slump below 350 points for the first time.

After a brief respite in its continued slump on Monday, when the BDI remained flat at 354 points, it fell nine points on Tuesday to hit a new all time low of 345 points.

A brief improvement that had been seen in the capesize market failed to stick and the Baltic Capesize Index (BCI) lost 12 points on Tuesday and was down down to 242 points.

The Baltic Panamax Index (BPI) and the Baltic Supramax Index (BSI) were also down 13 and 12 points respectively at 312 and 338 points.
