CMA CGM 18,000 teu containership calls in Los Angeles
The CMA CGM Benjamin Franklin has become the largest containership to ever call in North America.

The 2015-built, 18,000 teu capacity containership berthed in the Port of Los Angeles on 26 December and will depart for the Port of Oakland on 30 December.

It is the first a line that has deployed an ultra-large containership in the 18,000 teu range on any service apart from Asia – Europe.

The CMA CGM Benjamin Franklin is deployed on the Pearl River Express service connecting China with the North American West Coast.
