Diana said it had received a $9.4m payment from China Exim Bank for a cancelled kamsarmax bulker at the Chinese yard. The newbuilding was originally scheduled for delivery on 31 May 2016.
The refund guarantee payment represented the first two installment payments on the newbuilding.
