Keppel again refutes Brazil bribery allegations
Keppel Corp has again refuted bribery allegations related to Petrobras and the ongoing Operation Car Wash or Lava Jato investigations.

The move comes after testimony on 21 July given by Zwi Skornicki, a former agent for Keppel in Brazil, in the fraud investigations.

“We refute the allegations made by Mr Skornicki regarding Keppel’s involvement in the illegal payments made by Mr Skornicki,” Keppel said in a statement to the Singapore Exchange.

Skornicki was alleged earlier this year to have made illegal payments to relating to contracts with Petrobras/Sete Brasil.

Keppel re-iterated a policy of zero tolerance towards bribery and corruption.

“We are unable to comment further in view of the ongoing investigations,” it added.
