Delivering global insight

Delivering global insight
Welcome to Seatrade Global. At Seatrade we spend a lot of time out in the market talking to our clients and contacts so we can deliver the events and editorial content that are important to you, the industry.

Many of you will already be very familiar with Asia’s premier maritime news site Seatrade Asia Online and our industry leading cruise news website Seatrade Insider, complementing our flagship print magazines. However, we did lack a global maritime news presence, and with the launch of Seatrade Global we are addressing that, and more.

Seatrade Global brings with it the quality editorial and industry insight that the market has grown to expect from Seatrade over the last 42 years. We are bringing together our correspondents across the globe to provide a truly worldwide maritime news website. In the mould breaking fashion you expect from Seatrade we are running this global website from Asia, taking into account the shift in gravity of the global shipping industry in recent years.

For regular readers of Seatrade Asia Online all our past content is incorporated into Seatrade Global, with a separate Asia news page, as we also have for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and the Americas, for those who prefer a more regional based focus. The site can also be viewed by industry sector with nine different focus pages.

Unlike our competitors our content is not locked behind a paywall, it is free for anyone in the maritime industry to view and then discuss on our social media outlets Linkedin, Twitter and Facebook. This will provide many exciting opportunities for those who wish to reach out to the industry as whole, be it editorially or commercially.

Going beyond delivering just the day-to-day news our hugely experienced team of correspondents around the world will offer you insights into what is happening in their local markets across the maritime globe. Each week our unique dispatches column will bring you cutting edge opinions from the European, Asian, Middle East and American markets from writers located in key shipping cities. We will also be providing expert commentary on the main shipping markets.

We have many more exciting developments to come and we are sure Seatrade Global will become your source of maritime news worldwide.
