Samsung to build Teekay Offshore tanker trio

Samsung to build Teekay Offshore tanker trio
Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) has revealed it is to build three shuttle tankers for Teekay Offshore Partners, at a total price of $365m.

The newbuild contracts, announced earlier this week, include one optional extra vessel. The ships are being built to serve charters on Canada's East coast.

The ships are to be delivered from late 2017, with the last delivery expected in February 2018.
