The $12.5m loan with an undisclosed European bank will finance part of the cost of an ultramax bulker delivered to the company from Imabari Shipbuilding in the fourth quarter of this year. The loan matures in five years.
“Including the facility, the company has now either signed credit facility agreements or received commitments for all 60 vessels in its fleet,” Scorpio Bulkers said.
