Scorpio Tankers lines up public share offer

Scorpio Tankers lines up public share offer
Scorpio Tankers has lined up share offering to fund a likely acquisition of three LR2 product tankers.

New York Stock Exchange-listed Scorpio Tankers is planning to sell 15m shares. It said the proceeds would be used fund the acquisition of product tankers, which could include options it has three LR2 tankers.

The underwriters of the offering will be granted a 30-day option on an additiona 2.25m shares.

UBS Securities is acting as sole book-running manager in the offering, and Clarksons Platou Securities is acting as joint lead manager.
