Zim adds Port of Norfolk to ZCP circuit

Zim adds Port of Norfolk to ZCP circuit
Zim is to add the Port of Norfolk, Virginia, to its Container Service Pacific (ZCP) container route, beginning mid-June.

New rotation will be Savannah, Norfolk, New York, Halifax, Kingston, Los Angeles, Oakland, Vostochny, Ningbo, Shanghai, Pusan, Balboa, Kingston, and back to Savannah, over a period of 30 days. The first vessel to call the Port will be ZIM Mediterranean voyage 47/W.

“This latest upgrade of our long-standing ZCP service is aimed at responding to our customers’ needs in this trade, while making our network more efficient,” said Lea Bogatch-Genossar, ZIM America president. “With Norfolk being home to our area Head office for over a decade, adding a Norfolk call to one of our flagship global services, ZCP, is especially significant for us and for our US customers.“
