ABB launches new digital turbocharging solutions at Marintec China
ABB Turbocharging is launching new digital turbocharging solutions at Marintec China 2017.

The solutions are aimed at providing increased efficiency and lower costs linking through ABB's Collaborative Operations Centres for marine.

ABB has extended its SIKO concept through a digital version, ABB Ability SIKO, enables optimised maintenance for turbochargers that are be used in slow steaming.

ABB is also bringing actionable insights on engine performance through the acquisition of Tekomar XEPERT, a performance analysis and advisory software solution.

“Our ambition for digitalisation of turbocharging is to enable customers to reach the next level in terms of efficiency, operational flexibility, reliability and, most crucially, cost optimisation over the lifecycle,” said Oliver Riemenschneider, md of ABB Turbocharging.

ABB Turbocharging is exhibiting at Marintec China in Shanghai from 5 – 8 December.
