The strategic alliance, Bibby-USM Shipping is an independent company which will target niche industry segments across China and Taiwan such as the offshore, oil and gas, LNG and LPG sectors.
Bibby's offshore expertise and USM's relationships with owners across North Asia will be combined to offer a range of marine services including technical management, consultancy, crew management, surveying and marine travel.
Bibby Ship Management Singapore's md Arvind Mohan commented: “We are looking forward to working with United Ship Management to venture into the Chinese market through Bibby-USM Shipping.
