Built by Shanghai Construction Group the project was helped with a soft loan of $28.2m from the Chinese government.
The terminal located along the Mekong River in Kean Svay district, about 30 kilometers east of Phnom Penh will become a main hub for import and export of goods from Cambodia and is slated to cope with rice exports of 1m tons by 2015.
