“We have seen changes across many of the most important global economies and perhaps finally witnessed the end of quantitative easing,” he noted.
However through all these 2017 has been an “extremely extraordinary” year for the group, Banga said. “We exceeded many of our own lofty targets and have had perhaps the most successful year on a collective basis since our inception,” he added, pointing out that this success would not have been possible without the hard work of the whole team.
In conclusion Banga noted the relationship-based nature of many of the group’s businesses and took the opportunity to thank each and every one of the partners represented at the function.
