Lu Zhimin, official from Nantong Rugao Port area Administration Commission said that the co-operation with Cosco Shipping Shipyard is a good model for state-owned and private assets combination.
Yuan Jian, chairman of Rui Tai Shipyard said that the company had jointly repaired 52 vessels with Cosco Shipping Nantong Shipyard since the two parties inked strategic agreement in September 2018. The co-operation between the large-sized state owned company and small-sized private company is designed to avoid vicious competition.
Rui Tai Shipyard, located at Rugao port of Nantong, is specialized in ship’s drydocking repair, afloat repair, ship modification projects and structural steelwork.
