Cosco Shipyard bags deal to build two 64,000 bulkers

Cosco Shipyard bags deal to build two 64,000 bulkers
Cosco (Zhoushan) Shipyard, subsidiary of Cosco Shipyard Group, has won an order to build two 64,000 dry bulk carriers for an unnamed Asian buyer.

The two new vessels are scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2016 and the first quarter of 2017, respectively.

Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.

Cosco (Dalian) Shipyard, another subsidiary of Cosco Shipyard, has also earlier clinched a deal to build four subsea supply vessels for Maersk Supply Service.
