ERMA FIRST ESK Engineering Solutions S.A. participated in the major international exhibition “Nor Shipping 2013” which took place in early June, in Norway. ERMA FIRST participated in collaboration with and trough the stand of Vestergaard Marine Service A/S, the ERMA FIRST agent in Northern Europe. Nor Shipping, with an over 50-year history, is today an important meeting place for companies from the maritime industry worldwide with visitors from more than 80 countries.
ERMA FIRST participation in “Nor Shipping 2013” conveyed the message that the company’s presence remains strong and consistent in this important part of the ship-operating market. Our exhibition model gave to all our visitors the opportunity to understand more thoroughly the key advantages of ERMA FIRTS BWTS as well as to address any questions regarding ERMA FIRST BWTS or Ballast Water Treatment in general.
ERMA FIRST, the first Greek company that designed, produced and certified the Ballast Water Treatment System (BWTS), uses an advanced technology of electrolysis of sea water for the production of active substances in combination with high performance mechanical separation of particles using hydrocyclones. This technology ensures results that far exceed the minimum requirements of the discharge limits of IMO D-2 regulations.
