Evergreen confirms owner company for ten 2,800 teu vessels

Evergreen confirms owner company for ten 2,800 teu vessels
Taiwan’s container carrier Evergreen Marine has confirmed that 10 of 20 containerships it ordered earlier this year at Imabari Shipbuilding and CSBC Corp will be owned by Greencompass SA.

Taipei-listed Evergreen said that the 2,800 teu newbuildings that come under Greencompass will be split five each between Imabari and Taiwan’s CSBC.

Details of the delivery schedule were not disclosed.

The vessels were orignally ordered by Evergreen in August and September this year.
