The 2005-Japanese built, 48,539-dwt tanker is expected to join GE Shipping’s fleet in the third quarter of 2017. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
The Mumbai-listed shipowner’s current fleet stands at 33 ships comprising of 23 tankers and 10 dry bulk carriers. The company has three newbuilding kamsarmaxes and one secondhand capesize bulker on order.
