Hong Kong port throughput flat in January
Hong Kong: Box throughput at the port of Hong Kong in January remained stable year-on-year, according to data from the Hong Kong Marine Department.

The East Asian port handled 1.99m teu last month, inching up from 2m teu in January 2012.

Last month's throughput rose 6.2% from 1.87m teu recorded in December 2012.

Hong Kong moved 23.13m teu in 2012, a notch lower compared to 24.38m teu in 2011.
