ICTSI appoints new Asia-Pacific head

Andrew Dawes appointed as ICTSI senior vice president and regional head of Asia-Pacific
Manila-headquartered International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) has appointed a new head for its Asia-Pacific region.

Andrew Dawes has been appointed as senior vice president and regional head of Asia-Pacific, replacing Christian R. Gonzalez, who has been named global corporate head.

Dawes will be responsible for the management and development of ICTSI’s Asia-Pacific portfolio outside of the Philippines.

ICTSI said Dawes has over 20 years of experience in the port industry, having been in senior roles in multinational port management companies in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas.

Prior to joining ICTSI, he was managing director of APM Terminals in Salalah, Oman.

Dawes had also held senior management positions at Intel Nigeria and various APM Terminals in Africa and the Middle East. He also held key roles in DP World, P&O Ports, and Southampton Container Terminal in the UK.
