The Central LNG Marine Fuel Japan Corporation is expected to run the bunkering business while Central LNG Shipping Japan Corporation will own and operate the bunker vessel.
The four companies earlier this year said they were in discussions to set up the business ahead of expected rising demand for LNG as an alternative to heavy fuel oil as stricter emissions regulations come up.

“Going forward, each of the four companies will utilize the expertise and strengths that they each possess to propel the Ship-to-Ship Bunkering business,” they said in a joint press release.
