China’s Sinochem Shipping (Hainan) has booked four chemical tankers with an option for three, while Hong Kong’s Goldwin Shipping has ordered one unit with an option for two.
The newbuildings are scheduled to be delivered in phases starting from the second half of 2016, according to Jiangsu New Hantong.
The chemical tankers will be built according to the designs from the Shanghai Merchant Ship Design & Research Institute (Sdari).
