Kaohsiung handled 850,240 teu of boxes last month, up 8.5% compared to 783,345 teu in June, according to figures from Kaohsiung Harbor Bureau.
In the first seven months of this year, the Taiwanese port moved a total of 5.71m teu. David Cheng, habour master of Kaohsiung port, revealed that the port aims to move 10m teu in 2013, up from 9.78m teu registered in 2012.
