Maersk Line's intra-Asia and feeder arm MCC Transport is launching a new service connecting East Malaysia with China and South Korea.

The new IA6 service links Kota Kinabalu and Bintulu to the ports of Hong Kong, Busan, Dalian, Xingang and Pyong Taek, as well as calling Singapore and Tanjung Pelepas.

“We believe that the IA6 can play a significant role in supporting Malaysia’s trade growth as it links East Malaysia to China and the rest of the world,” said Naresh Potty, coo of MCC Transport.

The southbound service starts on 30 July from Dalian, while the northbound service first sailing is on 9 August from Tanjung Pelepas.
