Myanmar tanker sinks in car carrier collision
Singapore: The Myan-Aung, a 1,100 dwt tanker, capsized and sank following a collision with Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (K Line) operated car carrier Malacca Highway, on the Yangon river on April 28th. all of Myan-Aung’s 17 crew have been reported safe.

The 1965-built Myanmar-flagged tanker was enroute to Yangon, returning after discharging its cargo in Mawlamyine. The vessels collided at around 15:00hrs local time, near Thilawa port.

K Line's 17,735 gt Panama-flagged Malacca Highway is currently being held in Yangon for investigation.
