PIL, CSCL team up for China-West Africa service
Pacific International Lines (PIL) and China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL) have teamed up to enhance the SW2 network serving the China-West Africa trade.

The collaborated service, due to commence from Shanghai on 20 January, will provide weekly sailings with 12 panamax vessels, of which seven will come from PIL and five by CSCL.

The SW2 port rotation is Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Shekou, Nansha, Singapore, Lome, Tincan, Tema, Abidjan, Colombo, Port Klang, Singapore and back to Shanghai.

“As a lead carrier to Africa, PIL offers two other direct China-West Africa services, one direct service from India/Middle East, and three feeder services to complete its West Africa network,” PIL said.
