PSA says all terminals ready for container weighing
Singapore-headquartered container terminal operator PSA International says its global terminals are ready for container weighing regulations that come into force on 1 July.

In a statement PSA said that all its terminal facilities would be in “full compliance” for the verified gross mass (VGM) regulation under amendments to the IMO SOLAS regulation that come into force on 1 July this year.

“Export containers arriving at PSA terminals with valid Verified Gross Mass (VGM) will be accepted in accordance with operational procedures which are in most cases familiar to our customers,” PSA said.

“For those arriving without VGM, most PSA terminals will be ready to provide a weighing service to determine VGM upon request.”
