SapuraKencana issues more Islamic bonds to refinance debt

SapuraKencana issues more Islamic bonds to refinance debt
SapuraKencana Petroleum (SapKencana) said its unit SapuraKencana TMC issued another MYR3.3bn ($741.6m) and $74.8m worth of unrated Islamic bonds under its multi-currency sukuk programme.

This is part of the company’s ongoing multi-currency Islamic medium-term notes programme for up to MYR7bn, first announced in September 2015.

SapKencana said in a stock market announcement that proceeds raised from these issuances would go towards refinancing SKTMC’s existing financings.
