Odfjell Drilling, the rig's owner, said in a statement that the rig “experienced water ingress on pontoon” on Saturday.
“Immediate evacuation was commenced and the rig was stabilized on the sea bed with draft at around 21 meters,” Odfjell Drilling said. “No injuries to personnel have been reported.”
Odfjell Drilling adding that it is awaiting further details from DSME and will submit more information in due time.
