Container throughput in November improved 7.2% year-on-year from 2.63m teu registered in the same month of last year. Month-on-month, volumes rose 3.7% from 2.72m teu, according to data from Shanghai International Port (Group).
In the first 11 months of this year, Shanghai handled a total of 29.76m teu, up from 29.11m teu in the corresponding period of 2011.
