All the nine newbuildings are scheduled to be delivered in 2017. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
The AHTS vessels will be based on the SPA80A, which comes with electric propulsion system and a bollard pull of 80 metric tonnes, designed by Shanghai Design Associates, Sinopacific’s OSV design team.
Adnoc first launched bids for this newbuilding project in 2013 and then handed it over to Esnaad, its subsidiary to follow up.
