Seattle: Tideworks Technology has announced that Vietnam’s Cai Lan International Container Terminal (CICT) has successfully implemented Tideworks’ terminal operating system (TOS) solutions.

Johor: The Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), Malaysia's largest container operator, has affirmed its ambitious expansion plan, citing the highly competitive container port business as the main driver for the expansion.

Arriving in the Indonesian capital Jakarta the highway from the airport is clogged with chaotic traffic, and trucks line up for miles, seemingly immobile on roads that head towards the country’s main port of Tanjung Priok.  The organised chaos that is Jakarta’s traffic is a good allegory for the country as a whole.

Puerto Cortes: International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI), that won the International tender for the construction and operation of the container and general cargo terminal of Puerto Cortes in Honduras, have said they will begin work on the terminal in October.

 

Panama City: The port of Rotterdam expansion – Maasvlakte 2- will be completed by the end of this year with terminals operational in mid-2014.

Shanghai: Cosco has transferred its 39.04% stake in Taicang International Container Terminal (TICT) upstream from Shanghai on the Yangtze to its terminal operator unit Cosco Pacific for RMB322.78m ($51.82m).

Phnom Penh: Cambodia has opened its new 120,000-teu a year capacity container terminal of the Phnom Penh Autonomous Port.
