The new carriers have been designed for increased stability and fuel efficiency. The new additions will bring K-Line’s fleet of “next generation” car carriers up to ten, adding to a previous order for eight identical carriers to be delivered between 2015 and 2016.
“We are committed to continue to deliver value added efficiency as well as the capability of handling an even wider variety of cargo mix to assure our services successfully meet the needs of our valued customers in order to be best suited for not only passenger cars but also other ro-ro cargoes,” said the company in a statement.
