The business registration to operate in Korea was completed on 3 June, Singapore-listed Uni-Asia announced.
“The establishment of Uni Ships Korea is for the purpose of promoting the company’s ship-related services in South Korea which are in the ordinary course of the company’s business,” Uni-Asia stated.
Uni-Asia operates a fleet of dry bulk carriers, and the vessels’ charter income contributed to 37% of the company’s total revenue in the first quarter of this year. The group’s other revenue came from properties, management and other investments.
