Part of the Aix-Marseilles University’s Cité de l’innovation et des saviors Ze Box will start-up in June this year will house 12 start-ups.
Ze Box headed by Matthieu Somekh, previously head of entrepreneurship and innovation at Ecole Polytechnique and will start taking applications from around the world shortly.
“With Ze Box, CMA CGM is accelerating its digital strategy and is developing the means to become the transportation industry’s leader in innovation. By combining our expertise with the one of the start-ups that will be hosted within Ze Box, we will develop global innovations that create value for our customers and for CMA CGM,” said Rodolphe Saadé, chairman and ceo of CMA CGM.
It is one a number of digitalisation moves embarked upon by the French line recently including the appointment of chief digital officers and a partnership with Infosys.
