ER Group said that as of 2018 Blue Star Group would develop opportunities for institutional investors. The German owner bought the 109-year old Blue Star brand in 2012.
Blue Star will be led by ceo Christoph Geck-Schlich with ER Group putting in an “mid-double-digit million” amount to the development of new projects. The company will initially focus on the shipping and logistics sectors.
