Griffin recently opened a new office in Oslo to support the needs of the energy and shipping companies working in the region and a new head office will open in Bergen, early in 2014 to provide further local support for a number of new customers won in 2013.
The former md of marketing company Cruise Norway will head up Griffin's Norway team and lead growth plans for the country. Nygård Eeg moves after seven years working in the cruise industry. Prior to that she worked at American Express for 10 years, in different senior positions in operations, global accounts and sales.
Sally Spencer, Griffin's ceo for NEMEA commented, "The development of our Oslo office and our plans for Bergen are an extremely positive move by the group to harness the growth potential that exists within Norway. We are delighted that Wenche has joined Griffin; she is a fantastic addition to the Griffin team with a wealth of sector experience to drive growth in this key area."
Griffin specialises in the travel management of the marine and energy markets and claims to be responsible for the safe on time arrival of one in four crew.
