Located in Fenchurch Street, the office marks ISS’ return to the heart of London’s historic maritime and financial district the City after moving out, first to Chelsea New Harbour and then Chafford Hundred, Essex.
“Our focus on customer engagement highlighted a need to be located closer to our key principals and London is a key maritime market,” commented ISS ceo Chris Whiteside. Early feedback on the new offices, which opened in October, had been uniformly positive, he added - to the nodded agreement of assembled guests as the wine and canapés flowed.
Besides housing the top leadership team, other core functions now based in London include Innovation, Marketing, Sales Support and Accounts, while Chafford Hundred hosts operational teams including Hub Agency Services, Information Technology and the ISS UK operations team.
In all ISS has some 300 offices in 70 countries worldwide employing a 4,000-strong workforce.
