Norden's entire fleet, including nine newbuilds to be transferred on delivery, will be transferred to LR along with 16 externally-managed ships, which will join four vessels already classed by LR.
The transfer has already started, with the Nord Mermaid being transferred to LR from DNV GL.
LR’s marine client manager, Flemming Kjeldsen, commented: "Classing ships like bulkers and tankers and providing day-in, day-out service delivery is our key activity.
