Spain’s energy firm Repsol announced that it has completed its largest LNG bunkering operation using 11 LNG trucks at the port of Cartagena.

The receiving vessel is the Canada-flagged product tanker Paul A. Desgagnes of 15,100 dwt.

“Developing the LNG bunker business, both on a spot and mid/long-term basis, is one of the key work areas of Repsol’s strategy, adding LNG to its portfolio of bunker fuels,” Repsol stated.

The previous record LNG supply operation had employed the use of 10 LNG trucks to supply to another product tanker Mia Desgagnes.
