Sale of RRV Runde marks end of an era for Havila
Oslo: Havila Shipping ASA has divested its Rapid Response Vessel Havila Runde, which has been bought by offshore support provider Secunda Canada.

The vessel, which has been in lay-up since November, has sold at booked value. The sale will release liquidity of around $5.23m, and is expected to be completed by the beginning of April.

With the sale of the 1997-built Havila Runde, Havila shipping’s fleet will consist of only three vessels built before 2003. The company’s RRV fleet will now be cut to a single vessel after the sale.
