K Line to expand Maritime Academy Philippines

Japan’s K Line will expand its Maritime Academy Philippines (KLMA Phils) training center in Pasay city under a phase two development project.

The project will comprise of the construction of a new 11-storey building with accommodation for 225 persons and a clinic for seafarers, as well as expansion and upgrading of existing training facilities.

The K Line building phase two project is scheduled for completion in January 2018.

K Line said that it is staying optimistic that “the years ahead will offer many opportunities to improve the lives of Filipino seafarers and their families as we work hand-in-hand to achieve our common goal to provide reliable shipping services to our customers worldwide.”
