Tsuneishi’s Philippine foundation hands out scholarships
Japan’s Tsuneishi Foundation (Cebu), Inc (TFCI) has awarded high school scholarships to 30 students, out of 102 candidates, from the public elementary schools of Toledo city, Balamban and Asturias in the Philippines.

The high school scholarship provides financial assistance, an opportunity to become a college scholar and a chance to work in any Tsuneishi Group companies.

TFCI, part of Tsuneishi Holdings, which also owns Tsuneishi Shipbuilding, seeks to develop the potential of its beneficiaries so as to improve their lives and that of the entire community.

So far, the foundation has given out a total of 155 high school scholarships, including 41 college students and 114 high school students.

The 2010-established TFCI, located in West Cebu Industrial Park-SEZ, is primarily involved in scholarship programs, health awareness, medical and dental care, tree planting, mangrove reforestation, outreach program, and disaster relief.
