The agreement with the Algerian national shipping company aims to develop a common shipping line linking Algeria with North European ports. It also covers operational and logistics cooperation between CMA CGM and CNAN NORD and the sharing expertise for the training of seafarers and executives.
“This agreement is part of the CMA CGM development strategy in Algeria, which aims at accompanying shipping transportation development within the country,” CMA CGM said.
The French line has been in Algeria for over 20 years and has 10 agencies in the country.
