EMAC met with Abu Dhabi Ship Building to explain the benefits of including its model clause in the yard’s contracts.
“Abu Dhabi Ship Building Company is pleased that access to maritime Arbitration is available through EMAC. We see benefit in considering EMAC as a solution to dispute resolution”, said Khaled Al Mazrouei ceo of Abu Dhabi Ship Building.
“Our drive is to encourage these key players to adopt EMAC’s model arbitration clause into contracts and to explain how we work and what we offer”, said Majid Obaid bin Bashir, acting chairman and secretary general, EMAC.
