Under the agreement, Gulf Navigation’s scope of service involves streamlining operational management tasks such as customs clearance for air and sea shipments to and from the Hamriyah Free Zone, immigration clearance process such as vessel registration, crew change, and visa arrangements.
The group will also provide marine and port services, including security provided by a dedicated guard vessel, close coordination with the port authority for vessel registration and berthing plan, vessel brokerage, and diving operation permits.
Gulf Navigation will also provide escort services for officials and handle passenger transportation services through Dubai World Central Airport.
“Gulf Navigation Maritime’s experienced staff have excellent knowledge of local and regional laws and regulations and specialized in services such as Cargo vessel handling, Logistics, warehousing & inland transportation, Ship & off shore supply, Project cargo handling, Dry docking & repairs, Marine products distribution & sales, Freight forwarding & custom clearance,” the group said in a statement.
