The new contract is designed to give faster response time to service partner needing maintenance work, fault rectifications, and the installation of Thuraya maritime equipment.
Thuraya recently expanded its maritime product line with the launch of the Atlas IP terminal.
“Our expanding maritime portfolio requires support whenever and wherever a vessel needs it,” said Keith Murray, product manager, maritime for Thuraya.
“Our maintenance partner will store spareThuraya equipment for vessels in locations that are difficult for our partners to reach. In the long-run, this new agreement will save our partners time and money.”
