Topaz adds two more AHTS
Dubai: Adyard, a division of Topaz Marine, has completed construction of two 67-metre Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessels (AHTS).

The two vessels, each with 80t of bollard-pull strength, will be used to support dry and liquid cargo between pipe-laying barges, drilling platforms and production platforms for offshore operations. The vessels are equipped with the latest technical equipment and are custom-built for Fi-Fi Class I and DP2 operations.

The Topaz Dignity will operate on behalf of BP in the Caspian Sea, while Topaz Triumph will be operated in the Middle East by Topaz Marine MENA.

Both vessels incorporate twin-screw MAN D&T medium-speed L27/38 engines, developing 2,720kw each, connected to 2.8m MAN Alpha CP Propellers.
