MSC announce new weekly Middle East-Pakistan-India-East Africa service

Dubai’s Jebel Ali port has been chosen to unleash Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC’s) new ‘Cheetah Service’ which will link four East African ports with the Middle East, Pakistan and India.

MSC has announced it will deploy five 2,200 teu boxships on the weekly container service commencing September 7.Cheetah

The Cheetah Service will make direct calls to Mombasa (Kenya), Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania), Mogadishu, Kismayo (Somalia).

Jebel Ali (UAE) is the origin port of the rotation which includes Karachi old port (Pakistan), Mundra, Nhava Sheva (India), Salalah (Oman), Mombasa (Kenya), Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania), Mogadishu and Kismayo (Somalia). The service will only call at Kismayo every three weeks.

MSC Positano will make the first sailing on September 7.
